Homestay Program
Staying with a Canadian family offers you many unique advantages to enrich your experiences abroad.
ELS Language Centers' Homestay Program places its emphasis on careful selection of appropriate accommodations. That does not simply mean finding a comfortable place to stay, but also finding sincere, caring families who take a genuine interest in the well-being and learning experience of their guest.
Homestay students have a private, furnished bedroom, containing a small study area. They receive three meals a day (including a packed lunch for school), and share the household laundry facilities and bathrooms. Students will be welcomed into their new home anytime during the weekend immediately before their first study session begins, and are not expected to leave until the Sunday after classes finish. English is spoken at all times in the homestay.
