Structure and Speaking

This is our core course at ELS Language Centers. For two lessons each day, students master the structural fundamentals of English and practice using them in meaningful, communicative situations. Using textbooks designed specially for ELS Language Centers, students learn new grammar and vocabulary in everyday contexts. The key skills of listening and speaking are specifically targeted through student-centered activities. We do not believe in rote learning or blind memorization at ELS Language Centers. Each new structure or vocabulary set is presented with a firm grounding in its everyday applications and solidified with participatory exercises.
