Hi, my name is Taric and I am from Brasil. I studied 4 months in ELS. In these 4 months I really feel I made a huge improvement in English. That includes English grammar, spoken English, listening, and writing. I wasn't only studying there; I was also living there.

When I was in ELS, I learned lots of things. Not only the language, but also I learned the real Canadian culture. Teachers are kind and honest to help me, when I had any problems. If you go abroad there will be lots of troubles and sometimes you do not know how to solve them. ELS teachers will never refuse any problems you asked. They are friendly and kind just like a big family. You will make contact with real Canadians to know their custom. The small classes that I do prefer. You will be able to make conversation with teachers face to face in the class. I think that is the best way to improve English.

When you make any mistakes, teachers will correct you at once. The most important thing is you will have the chance to practice your Canadian pronunciation. One of the most remarkable things I found during my studies at ELS was the hospitality the staff extended to me all whole time. They went beyond their regular functions as teachers to become our friends. Trips with the school were always a lot of fun. We all learned tons of new things about our classmates' home countries and cultures.

The last thing, Vancouver is THE BEST PLACE in the whole world, and I found THE LOVE of my miserable life there.
