I studied at ELS twice because I really loved this school and Vancouver. I was a beginner of English at first, but I was able to graduate from level 109 in the end. Friendly and superior teachers and staff helped me a lot to improve. Every class was very interesting; I never lost interest. The curriculum of ELS was good for me to learn all parts of English. Actually, the classes and homework were hard, but they put my ability higher.

Vancouver had lots of rain in winter, but I didn't care because everything was new to me. My new friends made me happy. I made so many friends who were from various countries. I'm still keeping in touch with them, and I've even travelled to their homes. Friends are my treasure!

Vancouver is a big city but downtown is not dangerous. The mountains and sea are very close, and we can relax and enjoy nature every day. There are a lot of nice shops, so it's good for shopping.

The people are so calm and warm. I'm lucky that my host family was so nice. We still keep in touch. Homestay is the best way to get to know Canadian culture. Many emigrants live in Vancouver, so I never felt strange. We enjoyed all the foods of the world.
